- Book Sales are located in the Bookmobile garage behind the Mountain View Public Library at 585 Franklin Street.
- Resellers, dealers and children with piggy banks are welcome! We accept cash, credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Friends gift cards.
- No scanning, please. All our high-value items are picked over at donation time and sold online on eBay or Amazon Most book sale items are $1 or less.

Bookstore
Our Lobby Shop is always decked out for the season and brimming with a great selection of gift-able books, boxed sets, cute stationery and hand-crafted items by local artists. Fresh stock every week. Drop in during our shop hours: Mon - Thu: 11:00am - 5:00pm. Fridays: Closed. Sat: 11:00am - 5:00pm. Sun: 1:00pm - 5:00pm. The Lobby Shop is located just inside the Library's main entrance.

Shop our eBay or Amazon storefronts for unique and valuable items, collectibles and memorabilia. Items usually ship within two business days using USPS.
Volunteer
The Friends of the Mountain View Public Library is an entirely volunteer-run organization. We are proud to announce that one of our longest-serving volunteers has been honored by the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce as '2026 Volunteer of the Year'. We offer volunteer opportunities year-round with full training and support. First-time volunteers and teens 14+ or older welcome!
Donations
Please stop by during the book sale or any of our donation days and hours: Mon: 10am-12pm, Wed: 11:30am-1:30pm, Fri: 1pm-3pm. First three Saturdays of the month: 10am-11:30am. We accept up to four bankers’ boxes or bags per visit.
