Drop in during our shop hours: Mon - Thu: 11:00am - 5:00pm. Fridays: Closed. Sat: 11:00am - 5:00pm. Sun: 1:00pm - 5:00pm. The Lobby Shop is located just inside the Library's main entrance.

Volunteer
The Friends of the Mountain View Public Library is an entirely volunteer-run organization. We are proud to announce that one of our longest-serving volunteers has been honored by the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce as '2026 Volunteer of the Year'. We offer volunteer opportunities year-round with full training and support. First-time volunteers and teens 14+ or older welcome!

Please stop by during the book sale or any of our donation days and hours: Mon: 10am-12pm, Wed: 11:30am-1:30pm, Fri: 1pm-3pm. First three Saturdays of the month: 10am-11:30am. We accept up to four bankers’ boxes or bags per visit.

- LOCATION:
- The 2026 Friends Summer Book Fair will be held at the Family Arena, 2002 Arena Parkway, St. Charles, MO 63303. Enter at Gate 2
- Nearly 30,000 square feet filled with the best bargains in town! At this location, customers shop in comfort with wide aisles, cool temperatures (no matter how hot it gets outside), and plenty of convenient free parking.
- Special Notes for 2026:
- The 2026 Fair will NOT offer a large order staging area as in past years.
- Donations are not accepted at the Fair.
- The 2026 Friends Book Fair will include a silent auction. The auction will be available online and in person with a QR code during the fair and will feature some of the more valuable materials that were donated this year. Auction hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm n Friday at the Book Fair
